Martin County to distribute masks to public and businesses

JULY 10, 2020 | 9:30 A.M. | MARTIN COUNTY–In light of the local emergency mandate approved by the Board of Commissioners for the public to wear masks, the County is making face coverings available to the public at chambers of commerce, libraries and the Business Development Board of Martin County (BDB) and county libraries.

LOCAL BUSINESSES:

Beginning today, local businesses can pick up boxes of disposable masks from one of the five chambers of commerce or the BDB, while supplies last. Limit 150 per business. Local businesses can offer disposable masks to residents and visitors without a mask.

RESIDENTS:

Beginning today, residents can pick up reusable, cloth masks at one of the six Martin County Library branches during normal operating hours, while supplies last. Distribution is limited to two masks per person and no more than eight masks per household.
