NOV. 25, 2019 | 11:51 A.M. | PORT ST. LUCIE– A car ended up in a lake after hitting two traffic signs and a light pole at Southeast Lennard and Southeast Mariposa Ave.
Two northbound lanes were shutdown. The driver lost control of the car, according to Port St. Lucie Police. Two people saw the accident and jumped into the water and rescued the driver.
The car was about 10 feet underwater when the two people asked the driver to roll down the window and as she did so, they grabbed her out of the car and brought her to safety. No injuries were reported, however, the driver was transported to a nearby hospital for observations.
