Sailboat washes up near Fort Pierce Inlet

AUG. 24, 2018 | 8:33 A.M. | FORT PIERCE—St. Lucie Fire Department responded to find a 30-ft sailboat washed ashore after returning from the Bahamas last night.

The boat experienced mechanical problems and came to rest just south of the inlet on the beach.  There were no injuries.

Fort Pierce Police also responded to the call.
